Held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, 1/3/2026, a meeting was convened under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Technical Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, and chaired by the Head of the Student Activities Division, M.M. Ali Mohsen, with the attendance of the heads of the cultural, voluntary, scouting, artistic, and sports units, to discuss mechanisms for organizing and implementing student activities across the college departments. The meeting included several key topics related to preparing annual and monthly plans for student activities, as well as developing cultural, sports, artistic, and voluntary programs in a way that enhances students’ skills and refines their talents. It also emphasized the importance of joint coordination among the various units to ensure that activities are carried out in an organized and effective manner. During the meeting, views and suggestions were exchanged to further improve student affairs and to establish a clear vision for implementing programs and events in line with the goals of the educational institution in supporting the university environment and developing students’ scientific, cultural, and social capabilities, in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). At the conclusion of the meeting, the Head of the Student Activities Division stressed the importance of adhering to the set plan and working in a team spirit to achieve the best outcomes, reflecting a positive image of the college and contributing to enhancing campus life. Al-Mustaqbal University is the first among private universities in Iraq.
