Al-Mustaqbal University organizes a workshop on the role of education in building women's leadership capacities.. The Women’s Affairs Unit in the College of Engineering Technologies – Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division at the university, organized an awareness and development workshop under the supervision of Lecturer Zahraa Ibrahim Mahdi on Thursday, March 26, 2026, entitled: “The role of education in building women's leadership capacities”, under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of education in developing women’s leadership skills, by providing them with modern knowledge and practical experiences that contribute to building a leadership personality capable of facing challenges and actively contributing to society.
The workshop topics addressed the role of educational institutions in preparing female leaders, the importance of developing strategic thinking and decision-making skills, as well as enhancing self-confidence and working in a team spirit.
The initiative came within a series of activities carried out by Al-Mustaqbal University to enhance the status of women and highlight their contributions to building a sustainable future, in line with the university’s strategic vision, and within the third national plan for women, peace, and security (2025–2030), reflecting the focus on protecting women and enhancing their role in society.
