The Department of Radiology Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized a scientific visit to Marjan Teaching Hospital as part of the department’s scientific activities. The purpose of the visit was to observe the medical devices available in the radiology departments and to gain direct knowledge of how they operate and their role in diagnosing medical conditions and providing services to patients.
The visit included a field tour of the various radiology units, where students received explanations about modern medical equipment, methods of use, and the professional safety procedures followed. This experience helped strengthen the practical aspect of students’ learning, link theoretical study with field application, develop their professional skills, and familiarize them with the real work environment within healthcare institutions, contributing to the preparation of qualified healthcare professionals to serve the medical sector in the future.
This visit also supports the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting good health and well-being and ensuring quality education by advancing applied learning and improving the efficiency of healthcare personnel.
