The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an awareness workshop entitled Environmental Changes and Methods of Environmental Protection on the college premises. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hanadi Hadi on Tuesday, 24 March 2026, in the presence of the Dean of the College and a distinguished group of faculty members and administrative staff, as part of the College’s efforts to enhance environmental awareness within the university community. The workshop aimed to highlight the major environmental changes currently affecting the world and to examine their impact on human health and the environment. It also focused on effective approaches to mitigating these changes and promoting sustainable practices. The session addressed several key topics, including the causes of environmental changes, the role of human activities in exacerbating them, and the importance of adopting environmentally responsible behaviors that contribute to preserving natural resources and reducing pollution. The workshop further emphasized the vital role of educational institutions in raising environmental awareness and promoting social responsibility, thereby contributing to the preparation of individuals capable of addressing environmental challenges and supporting sustainable development. This activity forms part of a series of awareness initiatives organized by the College, reaffirming its commitment to its academic and societal mission in promoting environmental awareness and encouraging positive practices toward environmental protection.
