Under the patronage of the esteemed President of Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, and in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Division, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering Technology organized a specialized awareness and training campaign. Supervised by Dr. Ahd Hamid and coordinated with the Cybersecurity Engineering Techniques Department, the campaign was held on Monday, March 17, 2026, under the title "Digital Security is Your Responsibility." The session was presented by Assistant Lecturer Shahad Ghalib, who reviewed mechanisms for protecting personal accounts, activating two-factor authentication (2FA), and countering the risks of phishing and electronic extortion. Detailed technical guidance was provided regarding privacy settings and the safe handling of modern technology. This initiative comes as an implementation of the Third National Action Plan for Women, Peace, and Security (2025–2030), specifically within the "Protection" pillar, which focuses on the digital safety and security of women. The campaign aims to enhance their skills in data protection and enable them to confront cyber threats with confidence and awareness. This reinforces the department's role in supporting female leadership in educational and technical fields, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 5 (Gender Equality).
