A group of third-year students from the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering / Renewable Energy Branch at Al-Mustaqbal University successfully carried out maintenance and rehabilitation work on the Hybrid System for Solar Collector and Dryer, in cooperation with the Energy Research Center. The maintenance work was supervised by: Assistant Lecturer Asmaa Mohammed Hameed, Engineer Esraa Mohammed Hassan, and Engineer Ali Nayel Hassan. The work included rehabilitating the operational components and improving the system’s performance efficiency, which contributed to restoring it to proper and effective operation. This achievement comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the department and the Energy Research Center, as well as supporting the practical and applied aspects of students’ learning in the field of renewable energy systems. This work also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, and Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, through the development and utilization of solar energy technologies and enhancing the efficiency of sustainable systems. Furthermore, this accomplishment highlights the importance of linking theoretical knowledge with practical application and developing students’ skills in handling modern technologies in the field of renewable energy.
