On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the Department of Biochemistry organized a workshop titled “Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship and Small Businesses for Women,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Hanadi Tahseen Muslim. The workshop was part of the department’s scientific and awareness activities aimed at empowering women and enhancing their role in society.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the core concepts of entrepreneurship and highlight the importance of small businesses in achieving women’s economic independence. It also provided essential skills needed to start and manage successful projects. The session covered several key topics, including steps for establishing a business, feasibility studies, modern marketing strategies, and the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs along with ways to overcome them.
The workshop witnessed notable engagement from attendees, with active discussions and questions that enriched both the theoretical and practical aspects, reflecting the significance of such topics in supporting and empowering women across various fields.
