As part of the College of Engineering's ongoing maintenance campaign for educational facilities, and in preparation for the new semester, Engineer Hassanein Hadi Hussein oversaw a comprehensive maintenance and upgrade of Computer Lab (302) in the Biomedical Engineering Department.
Maintenance Details:
The campaign included a range of technical and engineering procedures to ensure the lab's readiness and continued efficiency. Key among these were:
• Hardware & Software Upgrades: Inspecting and maintaining CPUs and updating the engineering software required by Biomedical Engineering students.
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Maintenance: Inspecting and maintaining UPS units to protect equipment from power fluctuations and ensure stable operation during practical lectures.
• Connection Reorganization: Reorganizing and maintaining network and power cables to ensure a safe and organized working environment for students.
• Periodic Inspection: Ensuring the functionality of monitors, keyboards, and peripherals, and providing replacements in case of malfunctions. Campaign Objective:
These efforts aim to create a model learning environment that enables students to apply programming curricula and engineering simulation to the highest quality standards, in line with Future University's vision of providing advanced technological infrastructure that supports the digital transformation of engineering education.
