The Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering organized a specialized scientific event targeting engineering students, during which Assistant Lecturer Shahad Mahmood Mohammed and Assistant Lecturer Ali Yassin distributed detailed schematics of an integrated oil refinery.
The activity featured a comprehensive explanation provided by the lecturers with the active participation of the department's students. The session focused on clarifying the operational units within the refinery, from distillation units to final processing stages. Furthermore, the attendees discussed the engineering mechanisms used to connect refinery components and how to interpret complex industrial diagrams, which contributed to enhancing the students' practical skills and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world energy sector applications.
Sustainable Development Goals
