line with the directives of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, regarding continuous performance monitoring, the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision at the university, Professor Dr. Mudhafar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, chaired an expanded meeting that included directors and staff from relevant departments and units. These included scientific affairs, cultural relations, quality and university performance, sustainability, planning and studies, international rankings, qualification, employment and follow-up, entrepreneurship, marketing of scientific outputs, women’s affairs, as well as educational guidance and psychological counseling. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Al-Zuhairi emphasized the importance of teamwork and integration among various university sectors, stressing the need to present innovative ideas and initiatives by moving beyond routine performance. He also highlighted the importance of effective communication with college deanships and the professional documentation of activities and events. Additionally, he pointed out the need to involve administrative and technical staff in specialized capacity-building programs, especially those related to information technology and work automation, to improve institutional performance. The meeting also addressed preparations for the 4th Future Sustainability Week Festival 2026. Dr. Al-Zuhairi stated that the event is expected to launch in mid-April, emphasizing the importance of organizing and scheduling all participations accurately to ensure the success of the festival in a manner that reflects the university’s reputation and standing. The meeting included several interventions from attendees discussing various aspects related to improving academic and administrative performance. It concluded with remarks from Dr. Al-Zuhairi, who stressed the importance of high commitment and exerting maximum efforts to achieve the best levels of performance and maintain the university’s distinguished achievements. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among universities in Iraq.
