Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Dulaimi, the Department of Accounting, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department and international trainer Huda Ali Jameel, organized a mental math competition held for the first time in Babil Province at Al-Mustaqbal University. The competition witnessed wide participation of more than 120 pupils from various schools across the province, who competed in a series of rapid mental calculation tests aimed at enhancing comprehension, concentration, and reasoning skills among young students. The participants demonstrated high levels of accuracy and speed in solving problems, in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and creativity. The event also included informative segments on the importance of mental math in developing thinking skills, enhancing memory, and improving students’ academic performance, presented by the international trainer Huda Ali Jameel, who praised the role of Al-Mustaqbal University in adopting such high-quality initiatives that support education and childhood development. On the other hand, attending parents expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the university for organizing such a distinguished educational event that contributes to discovering talents and developing students’ abilities. They emphasized that such activities represent a valuable addition to the educational environment in the province. The competition concluded with the distribution of participation certificates and motivational gifts to the pupils, with a reaffirmation of the university’s commitment to supporting initiatives that foster innovation and develop the skills of future generations. Al-Mustaqbal University is ranked first among universities in Iraq.
