Students of the department organized an awareness-raising student activity titled “Efficient Water Use in the College”, in conjunction with World Water Day, aiming to enhance environmental awareness and promote sustainability concepts within the university campus.
The activity included presenting an awareness poster highlighting the importance of rationalizing water consumption and the role of individuals in preserving this vital resource, in line with the sixth Sustainable Development Goal related to clean water and sanitation. The students also focused on concepts such as reducing waste, protecting resources, and sustainable innovation in water management.
The activity witnessed positive engagement from students and faculty members, emphasizing that responsible water use is a collective responsibility, and that every drop of water makes a difference in protecting the environment and ensuring a sustainable future.
The activity was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Ali Mohammed Hussein Jasim, with the participation of a group of students who contributed to preparing and implementing the event, as part of efforts to support community-oriented activities and promote environmental awareness among students.
