The Department of Quranic and Islamic Education at the College of Education held a meeting of the Psychological Guidance and Educational Counseling Committee on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, chaired by Assistant Lecturer Shadan Salah Abdul, with membership including Assistant Lecturer Noor Saad Musahab, Assistant Lecturer Fatima Turki Sahib, and Ms. Samah Abbas, at the college premises. The meeting discussed a number of student-related issues, particularly the psychological and academic challenges that could affect their academic performance and mental stability. Emphasis was placed on the importance of enhancing psychological and educational guidance and creating a healthy, balanced, and motivating university environment. The meeting also addressed mechanisms to intensify guidance activities, especially with the upcoming semester exams, through organizing awareness seminars and workshops aimed at reducing student stress, boosting self-confidence, and enabling them to cope positively with academic pressures.
