The College of Health and Medical Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University organized an educational ‎workshop on Saturday, April 4, 2026, entitled “Together, We Understand Autism”. The event was held ‎in the Student Activities Hall within the Medical Building, with the participation of faculty members, ‎students, and individuals interested in health and community affairs.‎ The workshop aimed to enhance awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by highlighting its key ‎symptoms and the importance of early diagnosis, as well as reviewing the latest scientific approaches ‎for ‎التعامل‎ with affected children in ways that support their development and facilitate their integration ‎into society.‎ The workshop featured a specialized scientific lecture delivered by specialist Sura Rasheed Haroun, ‎who addressed the behavioral and educational aspects associated with children with autism. The ‎session also included awareness materials and educational videos provided by a specialized center, in ‎addition to organizing recreational and interactive activities for children within the university campus.‎ This initiative comes as part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing efforts to support awareness ‎programs and community initiatives, while reinforcing its role in promoting health and humanitarian ‎culture in service of various segments of society, particularly children and individuals with special ‎needs.‎ Al-Mustaqbal University The First University in Iraq
