The College of Dentistry at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a scientific workshop entitled "Alopecia: Causes and Risk Factors" on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, at the College of Dentistry building hall. The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Saad Hassan Mohammed Ali, in the presence of the dean of the College of Dentistry and a distinguished group of faculty members, as part of the continuing education program requirements. The workshop aimed to highlight the underlying causes and contributing risk factors of alopecia, addressing the roles of genetic, hormonal, environmental, and health-related influences. It also gave insight into key approaches for diagnosis and prevention. The session covered several important scientific topics, including the different types of hair loss, the factors influencing its development, and the role of nutrition and overall health in maintaining healthy hair. It also reviewed the latest approaches used in managing such conditions. The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees through scientific discussions that facilitated the exchange of knowledge and expertise, positively contributing to the enhancement of participants’ academic and professional performance.
