The Medical Biotechnology Department at Al-Mustaqbal University began, on Saturday, 11/4/2026, a series of preparations for participation in the activities of Sustainability Week, as part of the ongoing arrangements for launching this scientific event on campus. These preparations aim to contribute to the success of the week’s activities and to enhance environmental and scientific awareness among students, by highlighting the role of medical biotechnology in supporting sustainability concepts and addressing environmental challenges. The preparations included the development of informational brochures and guidance roll-ups, in addition to designing scientific models that demonstrate modern applications in the biological field, with active participation from sustainability students and department staff, in a collaborative atmosphere that reflects team spirit. Through its participation, the department also seeks to showcase students’ outputs and scientific projects, and to encourage them to present innovative ideas that contribute to achieving sustainable development within and beyond the university community. This initiative comes in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to support scientific activities and promote a culture of sustainability, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
