Al-Mustaqbal University witnessed the launch of the Fourth International Al-Mustaqbal Sustainability Week 2026, a prominent scientific event held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the direct supervision of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, with active participation from academic communities and representatives of society. The opening ceremony reflected the distinguished presence of the university, as faculty members, staff, and students attended alongside a select group of guests from various scientific and community institutions, in a scene that underscores the university’s leading position in supporting sustainability issues and promoting environmental awareness. During the ceremony, the University President announced the launch of this annual event, which serves as a scientific and cultural platform aimed at disseminating and consolidating sustainability concepts within and beyond the academic environment, as well as encouraging students to innovate and actively engage in addressing environmental challenges. The opening program included the inauguration of several scientific exhibitions showcasing innovative student projects and practical solutions that contribute to supporting sustainability, in addition to artistic, cultural, and sports activities that reflected the diversity of the program and the university’s commitment to integrating knowledge with creativity. This enhances teamwork and develops students’ skills.
