Al-Mustaqbal University has launched the Architecture and Arts Hackathon organized by the College of Fine Arts / Department of Design, under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The event witnessed the participation of 70 student projects, with 12 projects qualifying for the final stage, culminating in the announcement of the top three winners.
The hackathon aims to promote a culture of innovation and enhance students’ skills in design and architecture by providing a competitive environment that fosters creative ideas and sustainable solutions aligned with contemporary needs and societal demands.
The event was closely followed by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Mazen Hadi Alami, and supervised by Asst. Lect. Roaa Ali Younis and programmer Sara Faiq Ali, contributing to guiding participants and improving the quality of project outcomes.
The college emphasized its commitment to organizing the event according to high academic and organizational standards, reflecting the integrated efforts of its academic and administrative staff in showcasing students’ creative potential.
The hackathon concluded with an award ceremony led by the University President, who praised the outstanding projects and highlighted the importance of supporting such initiatives that reflect a promising future in architecture and the arts.
