*Scientific Symposium at the College of Education Commemorating the Martyrdom of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him)* As part of the scientific and cultural activities at the College of Education, lecturer Dr. Hameed Ali Mansour Al-Talqani from the Department of Quranic Sciences delivered a scientific symposium on the occasion of the anniversary of the passing of Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (peace be upon him), in the presence of the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Ahmed Rawdhan Salman. The symposium covered important milestones from the Imam’s scientific and intellectual biography, his prominent role in spreading the sciences of Sharia, and his establishment of the foundations of the Islamic school of thought. It shed light on Imam al-Sadiq’s (peace be upon him) methodology in building Islamic thought, his contributions to various sciences, and his profound impact on graduating scholars and promoting the values of knowledge and learning. The symposium was attended by a number of faculty members and students, who actively engaged with its themes through comments and discussions, affirming the importance of commemorating these great scholarly figures and drawing inspiration from their lessons for contemporary reality.
