Title: Forensic Evidence Department Organizes Scientific Workshop on “Premeditated Murder” as Part of Future Sustainability Week

As part of the Future Sustainability Week activities, the Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Premeditated Murder” on Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Humanitarian Building – Hall (208), with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students. The event was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, supervised by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and followed up by the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, Professor Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein Habbana. The workshop was delivered by student Amir Raed Hassan, who addressed the topic of premeditated murder from legal and criminal perspectives, highlighting key concepts related to crime scene investigation and forensic methods, which contributed to enriching the participants’ knowledge. The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees through questions and scientific discussions, within a distinguished academic atmosphere reflecting the college’s commitment to promoting scientific activities and developing students’ skills. This workshop is part of a series of scientific events held during Future Sustainability Week, aiming to support legal and forensic awareness and enhance students’ scientific knowledge in line with academic and societal development requirements.
