As part of the Future Sustainability Week activities, the Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Forensic Chemistry and DNA” on Monday, April 14, 2026, at the Humanitarian Building – Hall (208), with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students.
The event was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, supervised by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and followed up by the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, Professor Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein Habbana.
The workshop was delivered by student Zahraa Mohammed Aboud, who discussed forensic chemistry and the role of DNA in crime detection and forensic analysis, highlighting key modern scientific applications in this field.
The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees through discussions and questions, within a distinguished academic atmosphere that reflects the college’s commitment to promoting scientific activities and developing students’ skills.
This workshop comes ضمن a series of scientific activities held during Future Sustainability Week, aiming to support scientific and forensic awareness and enhance students’ academic knowledge in line with modern scientific developments.
