Abstract This study addresses the concept of the “sustainable university” and the role of Sustainability Week in supporting the transition toward a green campus through innovation and scientific research. Introduction The shift toward sustainability has become a global necessity, as universities contribute to reducing the carbon footprint through renewable energy and resource management. Theoretical Framework The concept of a sustainable university is based on: • Energy efficiency • Waste management • Environmental education • Innovation in clean energy Analysis Initiatives during Sustainability Week showed: • Implementation of solar energy projects • Enhancement of sustainable transportation • Development of green spaces within the campus Results • Reduction in energy consumption • Improvement in the quality of the university environment • Support for scientific research in the field of sustainability Conclusion Sustainable universities represent an effective model for achieving sustainable development at both local and global levels.
