As part of the Future Sustainability Week activities, the Forensic Evidence Department at the College of Science, Al-Mustaqbal University, organized a scientific workshop entitled “The Nature of the Criminal” on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at the Humanitarian Building – Hall (208), with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students. The event was held under the patronage of the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, supervised by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, and followed up by the Head of the Forensic Evidence Department, Professor Dr. Sami Abdul Hussein Habbana. The workshop was delivered by student Karrar Ali Hassan Mansi, who discussed the nature of the criminal from psychological, social, and criminal perspectives, highlighting the key factors influencing criminal behavior and major theories related to criminal personality analysis. The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees through discussions and questions, within a distinguished academic environment that reflects the college’s commitment to promoting scientific activities and developing students’ skills. This workshop is part of a series of scientific events held during Future Sustainability Week, aiming to support forensic awareness and enhance students’ scientific knowledge in line with academic and societal development.
