As part of the Fourth Future International Sustainability Week 2026, the College of Engineering took part in the “Sustainability March” in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shaker Majdi, with wide participation from faculty members and students. The event reflected a strong institutional commitment to sustainability values and environmental responsibility. This participation reaffirmed the pivotal role of the College of Engineering in supporting the university’s transition toward a green future by raising students’ awareness of sustainability and promoting its practical application within the university environment. It also highlighted the distinguished presence of the college’s members, demonstrating a high level of engagement and active involvement in environmental initiatives that contribute to building a more sustainable future. This participation is part of a series of activities that the College of Engineering is keen to implement in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, reinforcing its academic and societal role in preparing competent engineering graduates capable of addressing contemporary environmental challenges.
