The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, participated in the activities of the Fourth International Scientific Conference organized by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, held under the theme: “Entrepreneurship Applications and Knowledge Gardens… Horizons for Excellence in Sports Sciences.” His participation came alongside the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Adnan Al-Jumaili, representing the Minister of Higher Education, and in the presence of high-level officials, including the Prime Minister’s Advisor, the Head of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, a number of Members of Parliament, university presidents, deans of colleges of physical education, and a distinguished group of professors, researchers, and students. Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to the organizers of this distinguished scientific event, emphasizing the importance of linking academic research with entrepreneurship. He noted that Al-Mustaqbal University strongly supports all initiatives aimed at developing women’s sports competencies, expressing hope that the conference recommendations would result in practical solutions that serve graduates and open new opportunities for them in the labor market, achieving the desired entrepreneurial excellence in sports sciences. On the sidelines of the conference, discussions were held on ways to enhance joint academic cooperation among Iraqi universities to support the progress of scientific research and achieve sustainable development goals within the academic community.
