As part of the activities of the Fourth Future Sustainability Week, the Forensic Evidence Department held a scientific workshop entitled "Duties of a Criminal Officer," presented by student Sajjad Haider Ali, one of the department’s students.
The workshop was held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in the Humanities Building Hall, with the attendance of a number of department students. It provided a detailed overview of the core responsibilities of a criminal officer at crime scenes, including evidence collection, preservation, documentation, and analysis in accordance with established scientific and legal standards.
The session also addressed the key challenges faced in criminal investigative work, along with practical examples that enhanced participants’ understanding of the subject. The workshop witnessed active engagement from attendees through questions and discussions, contributing to a deeper understanding of the presented material.
This activity reflects the department’s commitment to supporting scientific initiatives aimed at developing students’ academic and professional skills.
