Principle of Team Play<br />one of many reason why Association Football is attractive both to players and spectators is its freedom of movement .Attack and defence flow naturally into each other and players can be almost completely unrestricted in their movements on the field of play. The game , then is basically a free game, but , as in all team games , the aim of a team must be to win the match . This inevitably means the co- ordination of eleven individual efforts into a combined team effort wich demands som planning and hence acertain amount of restriction . The planning must be aimed at making the best of each individuals abilities , the restriction involves to calculation of chance , wich is an inherent part of the game . It would be ridiculous for exmple , to encourage eight players to adopt major attacking roles in order to secure goals if this policy resulted in the opposing team scoring more goals and , therefore winning the match .
