Ceremony honoring outstanding students

On the first anniversary of the founding of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, a ceremony honoring outstanding students was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, President of Future University, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim. This celebration took place this morning, Sunday, October 22, 2023, under the slogan “Our Students Are Our Pride - Creativity and Talents.”<br />The ceremony was attended by Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Abdel Ali Al-Bawi, department heads, deans of university colleges, faculty members and staff. During the ceremony, activities were held that included the performance of the Iraqi national anthem, the reading of Surat Al-Fatihah in honor of the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and Palestine, and a speech by the university presidency delivered by the scientific assistant, Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi.The outstanding top students and graduates of the college were honored with valuable prizes, including certificates of appreciation and books for reducing tuition fees, in addition to opportunities to appoint top students. The Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, gave a speech in which she referred to the ambitious vision and goals pursued by the college. She expressed the college's commitment to improving the quality of its education and outcomes, while being in line with the vision of the University of the Future.She also emphasized the continuous support that the college received from the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, noting the importance of this support in achieving national and international academic accreditations. Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim emphasized that the college seeks, through scientific steps, to improve the educational process and develop its outcomes, which contributes to the development of the health and medical sector and effective contribution to society.<br /><br />The ceremony witnessed various cultural activities by the students, including poetry activities and musical performances on the Uruk, in addition to an artistic event to express solidarity with the Palestinian cause. The ceremony also included moments of honor and taking souvenir photos for the students on this special occasion.
