<br />A delegation from our university visited today, Wednesday, 11/8/2023, to the Petroleum Research and Development Center to discuss areas of scientific cooperation. The delegation consisted of Prof. Issam Kamel Saleh / Consultant in the Office of the President of the University and Prof. Alaa Dhari Jawad / Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Industries. A deliberative meeting was held with the Center Director, Engineer Ali Jassim Hammoud, and the Center’s Deputy Director, Dr. Muhammad Nasser Al-Hassani and a number of the center’s officials. At the beginning, an introductory film about the university was shown, which gained the approval of the attendees. After it, Mr. Abbas Mahmoud Ali, Director of the Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up, gave a detailed presentation about the departments and people of the center. Then the various areas of cooperation were discussed, as well as the draft mechanism for scientific cooperation. Proposed by our university to be studied by center officials and signed as soon as possible.<br />He gave A.M.D. Issam Kamel Saleh, on behalf of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. The honorable Hassan Shaker Magdy presented the university shield to the director of the center, and A.M.D. Alaa Dhari Jawad presented the attendees with copies of the university guide and other informational publications.<br />The delegation then toured the center’s various laboratories and learned about the laboratory equipment, pioneering systems, and details of each laboratory’s work.<br />At the end of the tour, the center’s officials were invited to visit the University of Almustaqbal and have a closer look at its facilities and laboratories. Everyone hoped that this visit would be the beginning of constructive and fruitful scientific cooperation for both parties.
