Under the patronage of the Honorable President of AL_mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, and under the guidance of the Head of the Anesthesia Department, Dr. Nemah Hassouni, the esteemed, the Anesthesia Techniques Department at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Division, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sahira Qahtan Abdul Jabbar, an awareness campaign on how to protect girls from early marriage (marriage of underage girls), what are the psychological effects, and that everyone has a role in protecting girls from early marriage (marriage of underage girls)<br />Early marriage deprives girls of their childhood and threatens their lives and health. Girls who marry before the age of 18 are more vulnerable to domestic violence and less likely to stay in school. They also suffer from worse economic and health problems than their unmarried peers, which are eventually passed on to their children and increase pressure on the country’s ability to provide quality health and education services.
