AL MUSTAQBAL University continues its agricultural and development program to apply the concepts of sustainable agricultural development and their application in the Iraqi agricultural sector by developing a practical plan to overcome obstacles and then advance the reality of the agricultural sector in Babylon and Iraq. Because the process of achieving agricultural development in the Iraqi agricultural sector today has become more complex and broader in scope than before, the study and practical application at AL MUSTAQBAL University adopted the realistic approach based on the principles of economic theory in clarifying the shortcomings in the process of harmony between the three main elements of sustainable agricultural development, which are the natural and social environment. And the main objectives were set among them. In the environmental dimension, the project contributes to reducing biodiversity<br />The agricultural sector contributes a major and effective role in achieving comprehensive sustainable economic development through the provision of food products necessary to meet the needs of local food demand, in addition to its contribution to foreign trade through exporting surplus agricultural output and through Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, the second goal is the complete elimination of hunger, and the twelfth goal is responsible consumption and production through agricultural greenhouses, supporting organic agriculture, and abandoning the harmful uses of chemicals and pesticides by growing cherry tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, cucumbers, and others.
