Under the patronage of the Honorable President of AL_mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, and under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, the Department of Anesthesia Techniques organized a scientific symposium on the dangers of drugs in the presence of the department’s professors and students. The symposium reviewed the health, psychological and social effects of drug addiction, pointing to the physiological and medical basics and how it affects Brain centers, focusing on the negative effects on physical and psychological health, and its impact on behavior and social relationships, emphasized the danger of addiction in generating aggressive behavior and reaching the point of suicide in some cases.
