Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the AL_mustaqbal University, Hassan Shaker Magdy, and the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, the Department of Anesthesia Techniques in the College of Health and Medical Technologies organized this morning, Wednesday, March 13, 2024, a scientific symposium on “Sudden Death During Anesthesia.” Presented by Professor Dr. Nima Hassouni Mahdi, Head of the Anesthesia Techniques Department, this symposium comes within the framework of achieving the third and fourth goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (good health, well-being, and quality education).<br />The symposium focused on the definition of anesthesia, its types, methods of administering anesthesia, examining the patient before anesthesia, monitoring the patient during anesthesia, and following up on his condition during the period of recovery from anesthesia and 24 hours after it. As well as the causes of deaths during anesthesia and how to reduce deaths during anesthesia<br />It was clarified what the legal responsibility of the drug is. The symposium was distinguished by providing valuable and useful information on a vital and important topic in the field of anesthesia.
