Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the AL_mustaqbal University, Hassan Shaker Magdy, the Honorable Dean of the Faculty of Health and Medical Technologies, Dr. Zahraa Halim Al-Qayyim, and the Honorable Head of the Anesthesia Techniques Department, Professor Dr. Nemah Hassouni, the Anesthesia Techniques Department organized a visit to the Center for Genetic Blood Diseases (Thalassemia) at the Babel Teaching Hospital for Maternity and Children. Small amounts of money were distributed to the injured children, in addition to flowers wishing them a speedy recovery. Dr. Widad Hamza, Director of the Center, also gave a lecture about thalassemia to the attending first-year students. This activity comes in fulfillment of the third and fourth goals of the sustainable development goals of good education, good health and well-being.
