Assistant Professor Dr. Saad Mutashar has published an important new research paper indexed in Clarivate and Scopus databases, titled:

Design and Analysis of LCCL–LC Compensation for Electric Vehicle Systems
Published in the Advances in Science and Technology Research Journal (ASTRJ)

Abstract of the Research Paper:

The shift towards electric vehicles plays a significant role in global efforts to combat climate change. This research focuses on designing a coil that connects to a wireless power transfer (WPT) system, helping to overcome challenges in electric vehicle charging when dealing with varying loads. The study examines the system's performance under different load resistances and battery capacities in electric vehicles by evaluating the stability of the output voltage and the efficiency of power transfer across these loads, even as they change. The focus was on maintaining resonance within the system. The results demonstrate a high power transfer efficiency of 95.50% when the coupling coefficient changes, and stable output voltage despite variations in load resistance. A coupling coefficient of (0–0.09) is critical for electric vehicle charging. This research supports the potential of infrastructure systems that can lead to increased adoption of electric vehicles and a sustainable future for transportation.

Best wishes for continued success to all the academic staff at our beloved university
