In order to achieve the slogan “Towards a Sustainable University” and to achieve the thirteenth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Climate Action) the lecturer, Assistant Professor Zaid Jawdat Al-Azzawi, and the students decorated the department with shade plants for a healthy and clean environment. They found plants designated for decoration, which are shade plants that add a touch of striking beauty inside the department, and have a psychological effect and help in relaxation and comfort of the nerves, due to the beauty of their leaves, colors, and different and harmonious shapes.
