In order to achieve the slogan "Towards a Sustainable University", the Department of Anesthesia Technology and in order to achieve the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-Being), a visit was made to the Center for Chest Diseases and Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Hillah on Wednesday 13.11.2024. This visit was made by Dr. (Talib Jijan Taher) and some second-stage students on the occasion of World Respiratory Diseases and Pulmonary Tuberculosis Day. It lasted two hours and included: First: Attending a lecture by the Director of the Center, Dr. Raad, on the spread of respiratory diseases, especially pulmonary tuberculosis. The attendance was a group of our students and doctors from the health centers. The lecture also included the latest treatment for pulmonary tuberculosis. Second: Visiting the center's pharmacy and reviewing the dispensing of medications for respiratory diseases, especially pulmonary tuberculosis. Third: Visiting the Radiology Department and explaining some respiratory diseases by the Radiology Officer. Fourth: Visiting the Statistics Department and noting the increase in the number of cases of respiratory diseases and pulmonary tuberculosis. Fifth: A brochure was distributed to the center's members explaining the disease pulmonary tuberculosis.
