In order to achieve the slogan "Towards a Sustainable University", the Department of Anesthesia Techniques and in order to achieve the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (Good Health and Well-Being), the Department of Anesthesia, in cooperation with the Women's Affairs Committee, organized an awareness campaign on drugs on Monday 12/2/2024, during which brochures were distributed<br />by Dr. Nour Karim Damd, Dr. Roaa Nashat Abdul Amir with a group of sustainability students in public places outside the university, explaining the effect of drug addiction on fertility and reproductive capacity in men and women through its effect on hormones, weak ovulation and decreased chances of pregnancy in women, in addition to its dangerous effects on the mother and fetus during pregnancy<br /><br />The methods of prevention and treatment were also explained by raising awareness, education and psychological and social support
