In order to achieve the slogan towards a sustainable university, the Department of Anesthesia Techniques held and in order to achieve the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (good health and well-being), the Department of Anesthesia Techniques held and within the program of scientific seminars in the Department of Anesthesia, the Department of Anesthesia held a scientific seminar entitled (Laparoscopic surgery and its effects on general anesthesia) delivered by Dr. Alaa Al-Mahna on 12/8/2024<br />It discussed the history of the beginning of the entry of operations using laparoscopic surgery as well as the most important benefits of using laparoscopic surgery and comparing that to traditional surgeries. The lecturer also touched on the most important potential side effects of using laparoscopic surgery.
