Students of the second year in the Biomedical Engineering Department organized a voluntary awareness campaign titled "Smoking and Its Harmful Effects on Public Health," aimed at raising awareness about the detrimental effects of smoking on individual and community health.<br /><br />This campaign aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3, which focuses on good health and well-being. It included a series of educational activities such as distributing informative brochures, holding discussions with students to highlight the negative impacts of smoking on the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and providing practical tips to quit smoking.<br /><br />The campaign witnessed significant engagement from students, who showed great interest in the shared information and contributed to spreading awareness among their peers. This initiative is part of a series of activities organized by the department to promote health awareness and support sustainable development goals.
