Under the patronage of the President of AL_mustaqbal University, Dr. Hassan Shaker, and under the supervision of the Sustainability and Activities Committee, represented by Dr. Feryal Ibrahim Jabar, with the active participation of Dr. Du’aa Jaafar Diaa, Ms. Najwan Thaer Ahmed, and Ms. Du’aa Saad, the Sustainability Ambassadors at the university organized a volunteer campaign at Al-Baraem Orphanage for Boys. This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to social responsibility and the promotion of values of generosity and social solidarity.<br /><br />This volunteer campaign aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by organizing educational activities aimed at supporting orphaned children and enhancing their learning and cognitive development opportunities. The initiative also contributes to Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities) by providing material and moral support, ensuring the empowerment of this group and their fair integration into society.<br /><br />In line with Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), the visit included psychological and social support for the children, in addition to organizing recreational activities that help improve their mental well-being and foster a sense of belonging. Furthermore, this initiative aligns with Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions) by promoting social solidarity and emphasizing the importance of providing a safe and stable environment for orphaned children.<br /><br />A group of university students engaged in sustainability activities participated in organizing volunteer, awareness, and recreational events, reflecting the significance of teamwork and volunteerism in building a more conscious and sustainable community. This volunteer campaign is part of the Sustainability Ambassadors’ efforts to promote a culture of giving and sustainable development, aiming to create a lasting and positive impact on society.<br />"AL_mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq"
