A frenectomy was performed today, Saturday 6/11/2021, in the dental clinics at Al-Mustaqball University College, a procedure through which the frenulum in the mouth is removed by surgical intervention or by laser removal. A frenulum is an attachment of the soft tissues of the mouth, including the cheeks, lips, and gums. The bridle is of two types, the first is the oral bridle and the second is the lingual bridle.<br />The process was conducted with the participation of students of the fifth stage as part of the requirements of the curriculum for the stage of the Department of Dentistry.<br />It is noteworthy that dental clinics have carried out many similar operations during the first weeks of the start of the new school year.
