"Sustainability Ambassadors" in the Department of Biomedical Engineering Wednesday, 5 scientific workshop alerts titled "Developing students' skills in building sustainable interactive projects using the Electronic Development Board "Arduion"," was organized in the Computer Labs Hall. This workshop comes within the framework of the achievement of the sustainable development goals, particularly the third (good health and well-being), the fourth (good education), and the ninth goal – industry, innovation and infrastructure
The workshop was co-sponsored by an elite of specialists:
Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Merdas
M.D Hussam Jawad Kadhim
M. Hassanein Hadi

The workshop dealt with Arduino Uno programming, as the workshop included a detailed explanation of the Arduino board and its programming mechanism using Arduino IDE, as well as an explanation of how the code was written and arranged correctly.
The workshop also included hands-on training for students in controlling digital and analogue ports, as well as building an integrated Embedded System. During the workshop, a range of sensitivities were reviewed, including:
حساس المسافة (Ultrasonic Sensor)
حساس الحركة (PIR Sensor)
Smoke and Fire Sensor (Smoke Sensor)
Heat sensor (LM35)
حساس الرطوبة (Moisture Sensor)

After completing the workshop, participants will be able to automate tasks and unleash a whole new world of interactive projects that create a sustainable environment.
This workshop targets students and designers who want to learn the basics of Arduino and simple electronics and build interactive projects.
The attendees were divided into totals and equipped with all the tools they needed to start working with Arduino, including:
1-اردوينو اونو.
2. Electronic Circuit Test Purdah (bread board)
3-Wire set for connecting.
4-مجموعة من المقاومات (220اوم،1كيلو اوم، .....)
5-Set of photoluminescent daiood LEDs
with the aim of developing students' skills in designing, connecting and programming control systems using Arduino. Students were assessed how to link and program a folder and control the duration of its operation. The workshop witnessed a remarkable interaction from the audience who expressed interest in applying the ideas put forward, thus contributing to a more sustainable vision for the future.
