This study aims to evaluate the performance of home blood glucose meters in terms of accuracy, ease of use, and their impact on patients' monitoring of their health condition, in addition to comparing their results with laboratory tests and patients' preference for using them.<br /><br />The study includes:<br />1. Evaluating the accuracy of home blood glucose meters compared to medical laboratory results.<br />2. Studying the ease of use of the devices by patients and their suitability for daily use.<br />3. Analyzing the impact of using the device on patients' monitoring of their health condition and improving their management of blood sugar levels.<br />4. Examining the extent of variation in readings between different devices and the extent of this impact on patients' treatment decisions.<br />5. Evaluating the importance of providing home blood glucose meters for all diabetic patients.<br />6. Comparing patients' preferences between using home meters and resorting to laboratories to conduct tests.
