The Department of Medical Biotechnology organized an awareness campaign entitled Foot and Mouth Disease, which included distributing awareness brochures to students at Al-Mustaqbal University under the supervision of the lecturer (Assistant Professor Amna Shaker Shahd) and second-year students in the Department of Medical Biotechnology within the goals of sustainability and the first goal includes good health and good education. To reduce the spread of foot and mouth disease and protect livestock, the Department of Biotechnology conducted an awareness campaign within the goals of sustainability that achieves the third goal of good health and well-being. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the seriousness of the disease and ways to prevent it, in addition to strengthening veterinary procedures to reduce its spread.<br /> Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
