"Sustainability Ambassadors and Students from the Department of Communication Technologies Engineering: A Field Visit to Remote Areas to Support Communication Systems with Solar Energy"

On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the team of Sustainability Ambassadors and students from the Department of Communication Technologies Engineering headed to the Al-Ibrahim area in Babil Governorate to conduct a field study titled:<br /><br />"Using Solar Cells to Support Communication Systems in Remote Areas"<br /><br />The team included: • Eng. Tamam Ali Al-Abadi<br />• Engineer Rafif Samir<br />• Programmer Ghufran Alaa<br />• Students: • Muntathir Tawfiq Rajaj<br />• Zaid Mohammed<br />• Fahd Rahim Jaber<br />• Atheer Yaseen Hamza<br /><br />The objectives of this study are to: • Analyze the communication systems' needs in remote areas and the challenges they face.<br />• Evaluate the effectiveness of using solar cells as a sustainable energy source to support communication systems and enhance their stability.<br />• Propose innovative engineering and technical solutions to provide advanced communication infrastructure based on solar energy.<br /><br />This study is part of Al Mustaqbal University's efforts to enhance the role of sustainable engineering in developing communication infrastructure by integrating renewable energy with modern communication technologies, contributing to sustainable development and improving the quality of life in remote areas.<br /><br /><br /><br />
