<br /><br /> Muntadhar Saleh Mahdi, assist lecturer in the Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics Engineering, has co-authored a scientific research paper with **Assistant Professor Dr. Donia Abdul Sahib** from **Al-Nahrain University**, published in a **Scopus-indexed journal**. <br /><br />The study, titled "Coating of Medical Implants to Improve Mechanical and Biological Properties: An In Vivo Study," aims to develop bioimplant materials to enhance bone integration. <br /><br />The research utilized cold plasma spraying technology to deposit a nanocoating on titanium substrates. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in biocompatibility with bones, enhancing the efficiency and performance of medical implants in clinical applications.
