The College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies Advances with Steady Steps through Participation in the ABET Accreditation Workshop and the Artificial Intelligence Summit<br />As part of its strategic efforts to achieve international academic accreditation and enhance the quality of engineering education, the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University took part in scientific events held at Al-Ma’arif University College in Al-Anbar Governorate. These events included a specialized workshop on the mechanisms of obtaining ABET accreditation, as well as active participation in the Artificial Intelligence Summit organized concurrently.<br />The college was represented by:<br />Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Mirdas, Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department,<br />Dr. Bareq Ali Abdulhadi, Rapporteur of the Construction and Building Technologies Engineering Department.<br />This participation, supported and guided by Asst. Prof. Dr. Azher Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College, reflects the college’s commitment to keeping pace with developments in quality assurance and academic accreditation, while also engaging with leading regional and international experiences.<br />The workshop featured advanced academic lectures delivered by experts from prestigious universities, focusing on the use of course learning outcomes as tools for assessing academic program outputs in alignment with the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and institutional competencies.<br />The event also included fruitful side meetings between the Al-Mustaqbal University delegation and participating experts, during which perspectives were exchanged on best practices for accreditation, as well as discussions on potential future collaborations.<br />This participation highlights Al-Mustaqbal University’s steady progress toward achieving its strategic goals of enhancing the quality of its academic programs and establishing its position among distinguished institutions, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University, the First in Iraq
