With high-level official and academic presence, Al-Mustaqbal University inaugurated the First International Conference on Modern Technologies and Their Applications in Sustainable Education, as part of the Third International Sustainability Week Festival. The conference aims to support Goal 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): "Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all."<br /><br />The conference was attended by the Governor of Babylon, Mr. Adnan Fayhan Al-Dulaimi, and the President of Babylon Provincial Council, Mr. Ad Al-Muslmawi. They were received by the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azher Mohsen Abd, along with a group of academic figures and specialists in the educational and technological fields.<br /><br />In his speech, the Governor praised Al-Mustaqbal University for its achievements and pioneering initiatives in serving the community and enhancing solid education. He commended the high level of organization and the quality of the scientific presentations, affirming the full support of the governorate for such advanced initiatives that align with global developments and contribute to preparing a generation capable of shaping the future.<br />For his part, the President of the Provincial Council expressed his pride in the academic and organizational excellence demonstrated by the university. He praised its efforts in creating a sustainable educational environment and in presenting diverse activities that reflect a clear vision for progressive learning.<br />In addition, Prof. Dr. Ameen Al-Yasiri conveyed the greetings of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the university leadership and its staff, wishing continued success for the conference and the festival. He also appreciated the university's pioneering role in advancing the higher education sector in Iraq.<br />The success of this conference is attributed to the wise leadership of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi and the dedicated follow-up of Asst.
