As part of the Sustainability Week activities organized by Future University, the College of Administrative Sciences organized a specialized workshop entitled "The Banking Reform Program and Requirements for Sustainable Growth." The workshop was attended by a number of professors, students, and those interested in financial and banking affairs.<br />The workshop hosted Professor Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam, Strategic Advisor to the Islamic Bank of the South, who gave a comprehensive presentation on the most prominent features of the banking reform program in Iraq and the mechanisms required to ensure sustainable economic growth in light of current challenges.<br />The lecturer addressed the importance of building a modern banking sector in line with international standards, emphasizing that banking reform is inseparable from achieving sustainable development goals. Rather, it is a fundamental pillar for stimulating investment and enhancing confidence in the economic environment. He also highlighted the role of Islamic banks in supporting development projects and financing productive sectors, achieving a balance between economic returns and social impact. The workshop witnessed remarkable interaction from the attendees, with a series of questions and discussions that reflected the participants' awareness of the importance of the topics discussed and their direct connection to the future of the national economy.<br />This workshop is part of a series of academic activities organized by the College of Administrative Sciences, affirming its commitment to spreading strategic awareness and promoting the concepts of sustainable development among students and the academic community.<br />Al-Mustaqbal University is the leading university in Iraq.
